Welcome to Flatirons Volleyball Club
Flatirons
Volleyball Club is a competitive club entering its 10th season as members of the
Rocky Mountain Region of USA Volleyball. Flatirons is especially proud of the
hundreds of girls who have increased their volleyball skill, made higher level
high school teams, gone on to play for college teams, continue to play on adult
teams and returned to give back by coaching those who followed their footsteps.
The foundation for Flatirons Volleyball Club was established by educators. Our
philosophy is to offer volleyball training to each athlete through proven
principles and tested techniques of our sport.
Flatirons is well known for superb coaches. The search for the top coaches
extends to all corners of the area. These incredible coaches are the backbone of
our program. The question is often asked “how can my daughter make a Flatirons
team?” The answer is, if your daughter is athletic and has a strong work ethic,
our coaches will take guide her to her maximum potential.
Flatirons Volleyball Club typically fields between 10 and 12 teams each season.
In 2008, three Flatirons teams finished the season tied for fifth in the Rocky
Mountain Region. Over the last 9 years we’ve had great success in the win loss
category. But our focus is on the athletes and their complete development as
students and as people. We emphasize the importance of learning within a fun
atmosphere. We believe athletes who love what they’re doing will succeed. In
addition, we are a county based program. Our priority is to recruit athletes
from an extended Boulder County area. We encourage all athletes within the Rocky
Mountain Region to try out for a Flatirons team.
