The 2016 Summer Camps were a fun time for all!


2017 Summer Camps
June 5 – 8

Summer Camps are a great way to improve your game and have fun.

Master the fundamentals, develop proper mechanics and gain valuable game play experience. Every aspect of the game is covered, giving a solid foundation to build upon after camp.

Training sessions consist of small groups led by an experienced Flatirons coach.

Summer Camps are geared toward for 5th – 9th graders; beginners and intermediates. The recommended ages are 9 – 14 years old.


Summer Camp is especially fun with Camper of the Day and Camper of the Week awards, a camp T shirt and fun games that relate to the skills.

Flatirons is offering eight camp sessions ($45 each) that focus on proper fundamental skills and fun.  These camps build upon each other but can be taken individually.

We recommend you register as soon as possible – enrollment is limited.

The morning sessions are from 9:00-11:30 am (8:45 am check-in) and are geared toward beginners.
The afternoon sessions are from 12:30-3:00 pm (12:15 pm check-in) and are directed toward players with some volleyball experience.
Camp is located at Peak To Peak Middle School Gym in Lafayette.

Monday: Passing and Serving
Tuesday: Setting and Ball Control
Wednesday: Pass, Set, Attack
Thursday: Review and Games

For players who are not current Rocky Mountain Region members, membership must be obtained before the day of the camp.
Go to Click on Membership.  Scroll down to Jr. Summer Membership ($35) and complete the application. Summer membership is good for all USA Volleyball activities throughout the summer.

The address for Peak To Peak Middle School Gym is 800 Merlin Dr., Lafayette 80026.
The gym is located at the Northeast portion of the campus just across from the tennis courts.
Best entry is through the gym’s north-facing door. Please bring a non-breakable sports water bottle with a secure lid and a healthy snack. Wear shorts, T-shirt and good court shoes with thick socks. Running shoes are not good for lateral movement and therefore, not recommended. Kneepads are helpful but not required.
