Friday, January 10, is the first session of Mental Mindfulness Training for all Flatirons athletes.  Dr. Michael Rhoads will be addressing the mental aspects of succeeding as an athlete playing a team sport.  Dr. Mike is our mental skills coach, and his profile is posted here.  A taste of his topics include focus and concentration, encouraging competitiveness, staying in the present moment, handling errors, working with teammates, visual imagery and so much more.

This is the agenda going forward on upcoming Fridays, in the Eldorado Cafetorium beginning at 6:15pm:

Session I (1/10): An Introduction to Mindful Psychological Skills Training

Session II (1/17): Improving Concentration through Mindful Breathing

We hope to see you these Fridays!
